In what type of mailbox should I deposit a shipment with Post By Me stamps?
In order for the optimal delivery time to be met, you must deposit your shipment in a green Post By Me mailbox.
Where can I locate a POST BY ME mailbox?
Our Points of Sale have installed a Post By Me mailbox.
Access maps with the locations of all our mailboxes here or by scanning the QR code of a Post By Me stamp.
What are the QR code and stamp numbers for?
The QR code directs to maps with the locations of all our mailboxes.
In addition, the QR code and numbers allow us to identify the establishment that sold the stamp. On the other hand, since each stamp is unique, they serve as a security system to avoid falsifications.
Can the shipment be tracked?
No. Our service is in the ordinary regime.
Is your postal service legally authorized?
Yes. The Spanish postal service is liberalized according to Law 43/2010 of December 30.
You can consult our Official Authorization that accredits us as a Singular Postal Operator and its annual renewals.
Shipping incidents
What happens if I have deposited my postcard or letter in a mailbox other than the green Post By Me mailbox?
- I have deposited it in a yellow metal Correos mailbox:
Periodically, Correos, being the Universal Postal Operator in Spain, gives us the postcards and letters with our stamp that have been deposited in their mailboxes so that we can send them to their destination. Therefore, the shipment arrives, but with a delay.
- I have deposited it in another type of mailbox:
We cannot guarantee that the company that owns the mailbox will deposit it in a Post By Me mailbox or in a yellow metal Correos mailbox so that we can deliver it to its destination. Therefore, we depend on the responsibility and good work of the company that owns the mailbox.
What happens if I have placed a postcard or letter in a green Post By Me mailbox with a stamp other than Post By Me?
- The stamp is from Correos:
Periodically we deliver directly to Correos all the postcards and letters with their stamps that have been deposited in our mailboxes, so they can send them to their destination.
- The stamp is from another Postal Operator:
Periodically we deposit correspondence with stamps from other Postal Operators in the Correos Network who, being the Universal Postal Operator in Spain, will be in charge of notifying the corresponding Postal Operator that it has postcards or letters that must be collected in order to send them to their destination.
They will not accept a postcard or letter with a Post By Me stamp in a Correos office:
Obvious. By purchasing a Post By Me stamp, you have paid our company to send the postcard or letter to its destination, not to Correos.
Correos office staff cannot accept by hand a shipment contracted from a different company.
What happens if I have entered the destination address incorrectly on the postcard or letter?
Mail with the wrong address or no address cannot be delivered to the destination.
